I've never talked to him but his posts indicate that he must have been a nice guy. I am saddened by his demise. I hope he rests in peace.
I had assumed he had some accident leading to physical limitations. But medical condition coming from some disorder or disease is very unfortunate.
Imo, even if family and friends would miss his company... It's more important what's best for him.
I hope he is in better realms, free from physical boundaries.

I missed this thread, have known him to be around a long time back side the days of E over a decade ago. Nice guy and massive respect for his spirit and attitude. May his soul rest in peace.
