Remote control for light and fan

I want to renovate switchboards in my room and thought how cool it would be to have remote controlled light and fan. Where can I get stuff for this. I don't think it should cost much for 3-4 switches.

yaa it will be really cool to switch lights with a remote and as u live in delhi you can buy some of those remote controlled switchboards from tilak nagar or lajpat rai market and yaaa it should not cost u more then 2 to 3k

Do they make clappers for home switch boards... wow interesting... Aother thought my lil cousins will abuse it. No clappers for me.

CG- Crompton Greaves rite? hw much did you get it for. And is ur compatible with universal remotes?
 
I got one crompton greeves fan controller only.

I bought it from Tilak nagar Electrical Market for Rs 400 last month.

It came with 1 yr standard warranty.

Although it makes wrk easier but it reduces life of appliance (as told to me by the electrician)
