Hello folks, its been great browsing & getting help from these forums about my future rig & other subjects.
Now I have another query regarding where to buy the rig components from.
I went to Cost to Cost & SMC Int'l yesterday, and SMC Int'l folks seemed more professional & trustworthy than Cost to Cost. For eg., I got a quote of 11990 for Corsair 6 GB RAM from Cost to Cost, while we all know that its actually around 9.5k.
However my query isn't about these shops, what I wanted to know is whether to buy from these shops or my local computer dealer/assembler. My local dealer says that he won't give me the individual components bills, but his own shop's bill & I am not sure how this works. Also, he didn't seem aware of current prices either, but he does know quite a few vendors in Nehru Place, and I trust him for the stuff he sells.
Guys please help as this is a huge investment for me (somewhere around 60k). If you could share the pros & cons of buying from these two options, and also mention other alternatives, please do.
