i aint sure about how is this one but the one on eXtreme Power Supply Calculator and eXtreme Flow Designer is good and more or less accurate to some extent

yes i had seen it earlier..but it doesnt give any indiacation on the 12v rail needed..thats why i posted this one..

seem to give more or less close results..others can verify

This is one of the best psu calculators i've seen....
One Question: How do you measure the actual currents on 12V rails once your PSU is working in your PC...Are there any software tools, or something else?

Multimeter is there only to measure voltage.

Dont try measuring current on the DC line with those cheap multimeters. Most support max 10amps measurement for DC and you will end up blowing the multimeter if you try to measure dc amps as its way higher than 10 amps on an modern pc.

the mm i had at home measured upto 30 amps without trouble..and i thought it was cheap..
sadly it has expired now..

this is what the problem is....u cant measure actual amps of ur PSU w/o a multimeter....so u can onl guess the performance of ur PSU
