Last month a friend bought a 8GB Kingston pendrive for Rs.520(inclusive of all taxes). It was a "Designed for DELL" pen drive and it was really really fast (Write speed: 9MB/s)
All other 8GB pen drives were being sold for Rs.550 + tax
If you can get the "Designed for DELL" Kingston pendrive locally, buy it without any second thought :hap2:

yes two years it is... but frankly i dnt care much.... i feel and what i have seen after a few years of usage they tend to go sluggish.... i was using a trnscend 4 gB for last 4 years... no bad sector till now though transfer speeds reduced a lot.... gave it to my gf... no question of warranty issue as i take care of my pendrives, none of them went kaput... i could use the 4 gB more but she needed one and nowadays the os sizes are so huge cant accomodate in a 4 gB...

btw sandisk is gd and most prbbly providing a 5 years warranty... but downside is the open cap ... its a big turnoff for having a pendrive with no provision of cap from outside dust etc...
