CPU/Mobo p8z77-m pro vs g1.sniper m3

i got a new 3570k. need a budget MOBO. never going for ASRock again. my x58 extreme6 crapped out and i cant RMA because i got it from ebay global easybuy. 18k down the dumps.
my options atm are asus p8z77-m pro and gigabyte g1.sniper m3
asus seems to have lots of POST issues but has more USB 3 ports and SATA 6Gb/s port.
gigabyte will save me the trouble of having to deal with Rashi everytime i have POST issues.

i have 2tb SATA 6Gb/s HDD and might get one more. have a Xonar Essence ST.
i dont think the sniper has a PCI x1 port and i think the Essence ST is a PCI x1. please confirm
 
budget constraints. what about the PCI slot

and im not really sure about which board you are referring to. because the z77-d3h is ~8k on flipkart
 
well got the MOBO and well the Essence ST wont fit. it has a PCI x1 and the mobo has only PCI-E.
