what cpu and what budget?
i bought a manufacturer refurnished ecs p67 for an i7 2600k about 2 months ago from geb.ebay.in.
it had only a 30 day seller warranty but i used a coupon and got it for around 4.7k.

here's a link with some results. the asus one looks good.
http://geb.ebay.in/g/ImportHubSearch?_df=force&qwd=p67&catId=&qbtn=Search&_trksid=p2052119.l1440

the third result (ecs p67h2-a) is the one i bought but it was 5.4k at the time.

thanks bro, ordered the Asus :), although i was looking for something locally for around 5k. 6.5k is good enough.

Very interesting, interested in the same motherboard as you. Can you please let me know what coupon code you used and how long they took to ship?

it was a 11% off limited to 750 using hdfc debit/credit card coupon.
there was the same offer on some other cards too - axis and icici i think.
i just did a google search for ebay coupons before buying it.
im including the links to where i got them:
http://coupons.oneindia.com/ebay-india-coupons
http://www.coupondunia.in/ebay

it took around 2 or 3 weeks to reach me (not sure).
i did get an email from the courier company asking for a scan of some photo id.
they said it was for kyc at customs but strangely the package arrived before i got around to it.

btw, what cpu are you using? i might have come across a better mobo.

Currently using the i5 2500k, with a mini ITX mobo, so was looking to switch without spending too much.
Ah, alright.
p67 and z68 are the oc chipsets for sandy bridge
z75 and z77 are the oc chipsets for ivy bridge
all 4 should be compatible (and oc ready) with the 2500k.

main difference i see between the 6x and 7x chipset series is the latter has pci-e 3.0 which isn't really such a big deal as single gpu systems still aren't capable of saturating pci-e 2.0's bandwidth.

shop around among these chipsets and take your time as prices and availability seem to vary. yesterday i saw a new msi gaming 5 board going for under 10k.
