Next Nexus to be of Huawei make? (Tipped to Feature QHD Display, Snapdragon 810 SoC)

Talk about Google working with Huawei for the next Nexus smartphone has been around for some time, with the smartphone expected in the second half of the year. Now, a Chinese analyst claims knowledge of some of the innards of the rumoured Huawei-made Nexus smartphone.

According to the Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang, the next Nexus smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. Considering that the handset is expected to launch in the second half of the year, it is possible however a newer Qualcomm chipset might be used in the Huawei-made Nexus smartphone.

The analyst also claims that it will sport a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display, which of course will be smaller than the Motorola Google Nexus 6 featuring a 5.96-inch QHD display.
Jiutang posted the purported specifications of the Huawei-made Nexus smartphone on his Weibo account.

One of the qualms with the current Nexus 6 was its huge screen size and Googlemight want to change that with the next Nexus smartphone. Details about the upcoming Nexus handsets are limited as of now.

A report from March suggested that Huawei will manufacture the cheaper of the two Nexus smartphones Google plans to launch this year.

Apart from the tipped specifications of the next Nexus smartphone, Google last month appeared to have teased the next Nexus smartphone in an official video. The official video of the Project Fi, which is Google's first entry into the wireless industry, shows a handset which could be the possible next Nexus smartphone.
The video shows how Project Fi service works and helps users get credit back for unused data. The service actually debuted on the Nexus 6 smartphone; though the video features a new device - not official revealed. The video was first spotted by Brian Rubin ofReadWrite.

Apparently Snapdragon 810 has heating issues. I have also read, most manufacturers will be giving 810 a skip and will incorporate 808 in the next nexus lineup. As of now my Nexus 5 serves all my purpose and I dont think I ll be giving up on my nexus until the next iteration are priced like the nexus 4 and 5.

Yeah, same as my Nexus 5 (red) - i'm loving this... and add the fact that they've discontinued this gorgeous model already that makes it more rare.
Cheers fellow Nexus 5 user. :)
