New broadband plans from bsnl on diwali

Finally BSNL come up with new plans with the speeds up to 24 Mbps . :hap2::hap2::hap2:

24Mbps is great, but price is too high. And they are missing the 4Mbps plan like other providers like VSNL, Asianet and all, which will be around Rs.1000 and will be a fine upgrade for present 2Mbps users.
 
See the * next to the 8mbps and above plans and the UL plans.. The * reads as "promotional offer for a limited period only". Now, what does that mean.. are they gonna increase charges even more..? :S
 
man.. even if it were true.. these DATA LIMITS are retarded.. how can they call it broadband . and have these retarded data limits.. this is really pathetic.. these cheats.... but then i guess lack of competition does that.. doesent it..??

and this is crazy they are charging even in free hours. i know they charge it after you end up your limit.

Those who are on the older nib1... with ip address 59.X.X.X can check out the the portal.Click on access service on top.The newer plans are mentioned in there but without details.
 
man this seems so stupid.. offering high speeds with that retarded FUP! what's the point?! They aren't even trying to match the prices with those of airtel.. There's atleast 300 bucks diff between BSNL and AIRTEL plans for higher than 512 kbps speeds..

and they are trying to offer 24 Mbps!? ya right!! I thought the theoretical limit on telephone lines is 24 Mbps and i'm not even considering the header payload yet... correct me if i'm wrong but I call fake too..
 
Instead of night unlimited (which is totally absent for all the plans ) they have special discounted night downloading charges Rs.4/MB

yeh right!! this sounds FAKE to mee too!!!

From the "access service" on bsnl portal, this is what it says

Plan - HOME 500 : Speed - 256 Kbps.Modified on 29/12/2006 and provided upto 2 Mbps

Name chd to Combo 199 on 25-09-09 as per co . Gonna get cheaper??? :eek: and they'll put those stupid night limit charges now I'm sure :mad:

i didnt find them anywhere after clicking on access service!

this is not going to happen, it will go on as according to the older plans only
