Need help in playing NFS hot pursuit

This is my comp basic configuration

AMD Athlon XP 3500 +

1 GB DDR Ram

XFX ATI Radeon HD 4350 1 GB DDR2 PCIe graphics card

I can play NFSMW, TDU, NFS Prostreet etc very easily, but recently i installed NFS Hot Pursuit (Reloaded ?), the new one and the graphics are slow, meaning it takes a split second for every action to be shown on the screen. This is not a good gaming experience at all. I read the requirements on the cover and my system covers everything with room to spare. Please help a fellow geek and tell me what's wrong, you avid geeks.

Are the drivers for the GPU updated? i.e 10.12. If not please download it and update it. How about the latest DirectX redistributable pack? I don't recall if Dx is updated during the installation of the game itself. Else it would be advisable to download and install it.

You specs seem just fine to run the game on lower settings although the processor appears a bit too ancient to me.

Read the 3rd post from jasondm4.I am not alone. I agree with you desecrator, my proccy is a bit ancient, but the sys req was below that comfortably.

Patch 2 is also out which improves performance.For me it reduced stuttering on my X2 550.

what are your graphic settings for the game? try toning them down and see if it works.

Also, try defraging the game folder. Normally, irons out small glitches.

it worked flawlessly on my unlocked 555BE

It worked flawlessly on my unlocked 550BE but stuttered heavily on dual-core.I unlocked my 550 just for this game
