PC Peripherals Need a SMPS!!

I need a SMPS for the following rig:
Intel Core2Duo E7200 2.53GHz
Asus P5KPL-CM
Transcend 4GB DDR2 800
WD 320GB AAJS
XFX NVIDIA 9500GT DDR2
PixelView PlayTV Pro 3
Samsung SH-S223F
LG GSA-H55N

I will also be buying a 1TB HDD soon..
I need suggestions ASAP...

You can get a cooler master 460 watts (extreme power / real power), Corsair CX 400 or a Corsair VX 450 depending on your budget.
 
CX 400 is the best bet for you then mate ~ 3.1 K, around 4K you will get the VX450, which would be slightly future proof (in case you intend to get a ATI 4850 or 4870 512 MB)
 
Exactly, get the CM460 and get a 9600GT instead of the 9500GT. Dat would be a much better choice...:)

9500GT DDR2 is useless if u are into gaming...:no:

+1 ... no need to splurge on a corsair for just 6-10% more efficiency with that config. CM 460W is Awesome VFM
 
Last I heard, the CM Extreme Power 460W was selling for 2.6k+; just checked Amarbir's thread and its 2.7k there as well. Considering that's a mere 400 bucks extra for the much better CX400, the CX400 seems well worth it.

The other option, if you really need to save some cash is to get the VIP/Powersafe rebadged FSP unit. What PSU are you running presently?
 
I am currently using Zebronics 400W SMPS which came bundled with my Bijli Cabinet..
It doesn't power my 9500GT DDR2 :mad:

As a result, my XFX NVIDIA 9500GT DDR2 has been lying around in my room for the past 4-5 months !!!

Even my friend's Circle SMPS which came with his VIP Cabinet powers my 9500GT.

I'll check out at Prime.. If the CM460 is available for 2.2k or so, I'll get it. Otherwise, I'll get the CX400

And regarding the Graphics card upgrade, I don't see it happening with this rig :no:

Maybe I'll buy a new rig 1 year later..:)
