its only 4 government employes which give u air to air 0.10

air to other .30

sms to any 0.30

and land line for rs 1.00

std for rs 1.50

but hutch is not offering me this

i treated to disconnect and they offered GK299

but still airtel @50p Bonanza is VFM.. i will make a switch to GK299 at the end of my billing cycle but surely VF guys are in arm twisting tactics and i want to analyze how bad is airtels network from VF in mumbai

using my friends Airtel from yesterday works great in my house full network like hutch

i always had problems calling to airtel like dropped calls etc premature dial failure etc but at my house airtel is not dropping a single call..

vf is like 20% costly on an average..is it worth ... many of my friends have switched to airtel

how does one (govt. employee)get this ...plan ?? or a new airtel sim card with the above pan ??
 
u need a proof stating u r a govt employee..like sbi i card etc etc.....

even i came to know abt it jus now.....so dont know whether cc offer same if u threat them that ull leave if u dont get corporate plan

i am ising the Hutch Campus Pack

1>Any 5 hutch numbers @ 10p/min

2>From 23:00hrs - 8:00hrs any local hutch number@ 10p/min

3>STD to any hutch @ Rs1/min

4>SMS to any local number 15p/min

5>Local Calls Rs 1.99/min

6>Daily Rental for thius scheme Rs1.50

I recharge with Rs 100 which gives me a measely takltime but 1 month validity and as and when needed i get the e-top up from denomintaions of Rs 10-198

Talking @ 10p/min costs Rs6/hr so that is real cheapo ...no hassels like 12.5% tax in postpaid

You have ti buy the campus pack sim for Rs 300 in which u get the sim , 1 month validity, Rs65 talk time and a bonus card woth Rs 45 which u can use to buy caller tunes, download ringtones etc

*You have to manually set you fav 5 numbers and you are charged Rs1 for setting the number, this is a one time charge, to change an existing number they charge you Rs25

**SMS @15p is not valid on public holidays

Cons

You have to get a new sim and a new number this scheme cannot be transferred to your number

This scheme is vaild only for 1yr from the date you buy the sim

but apart from those small hurdles i find am saving more since i am paying just 3/4 th i.e 10p instead of 30p ..so i effectively save Rs 12/hr i talk

Last when i used GPRS it was 10p/10kb no idea if the rates have changes havent used it for a month now

i tried the "vodafone threatening to disconn" plan... but they offered me most of the services,, except the 200 mins free n 200 msgs free... (aftr 3yrs on postpaid)
ill try again... n this time ill really disconn my fone if needed...
and is voicemail free?? onnna ma friend says he's got it free..
 
finally taken the gk299 by vodafone
Vodafone - V/M/L = 60/- flat
500 mins free vodafone - vodafone..( thts bout Rs 150/- if taken as 30p/min)
