WTB looking for AVR amplifier 5.1 or 7.1

Looking for the same. Need it to work with an old Sony home theatre 5.1 system. Rated total around 450 watts. The sub woofer itself is 175 watts.
But amplifier doesnt need to be that high power, since i wont be playing it nowhere close to the full output.

Yes it is better to err on the side of caution. I too am in Kolkata and I have seen scores of HT amplifiers shipped to Yamaha/Denon/Marantz service centres in Kolkata from neighbouring states arrive broken due to inadequate packaging. You can still ship safely. Buy a huge roll of bubblewrap from Chandney wrap it 20 or 30 times around your RX-V475 (it's not that big) so that it becomes like a pillow at least twice it's original volume then put it in a proper sized carton. Use one carton inside another if needed and plaster large Handle With Care labels and use a good courier.
i have an onkyo 5.1 htib3200S.. its pretty old but well maintained, with box and all accessories. works really well.. want to upgrade hence considering selling. and the 7.2 yamaha above ^^ is a bomb. you should get it if its in your budget.
