Hi guys,
I have been using the Sony Vaio CR 36 G for quite some time now and like the AV Mode/Instant Mode that it offers. The only drawback I see here is that it can't play DivX/XVid encoded movies. It appears that the instant mode utilizes a Linux barebones kernel with appropriate drivers, so it should just be a matter of putting in the correct decoders for these and it should work. Does anyone here have any background on this or any pointers to how Instant mode triggers the OS, so I can place a different (more customised version) there.
