Well, anything less the Galaxy S5 is a bonus. In my opinion, with the M8, HTC has hit the ball out of the park, be it the pricing, the expected build quality or the extremely intuitive UI. All in all it is a much better package than the S5.

The only thing where S5 is winning over M8 is the outdoor shots. In low light the M8's camera is still better.

If given a choice I would upgrade to M8 rather than S5.

Xperia Z2 is coming soon and LG G3 is also not far off. Both will be good choices.

All rumours mate. Nexus 6 will probably come in October but nothing is official yet and that article is full of speculation.
