Hi,

i have a Asus RT-N13U wifi router (192.168.1.2) & am using a Dlink DSL-502T in bridge mode ( Manual I.P: 192.168.1.4; no DHCP)
I have set the Asus wifi router as a DHCP server to assign IPs to connected clients.
I have a PC running Vista & Laptop with XP SP3.

My Q is :

1)How do i access the files on the PC from my laptop using the ASUS router..? :S

2)any way to login to my DSL-502T (in Bridge mode) ?

DLink 502-T is an ADSL MODEM ,to access files b/w laptop and PC u just need to connect both of them to the Asus RT-N13U then just open network and sharing center and click on the router(on the page showing connections like
PC - ROUTER - INTERNET) then u can open the files on the other computer( assuming sharing is enabled on both of them).:p

You'll need to enable file sharing on your desktop and share whatever folders you want to access from the laptop. On the laptop, go to Run and type \\ipaddress of desktop

Is your modem connected to the router's internet port? If it is, you won't be able to access the UI of the modem through a PC connected to the router.
