275 is not faster, similar upto 1920, but @ higher AA n 2560 reso, 280 starts to shine, thanks to 512bit memory bus and 1GB frame buffer, 275 is 448bit and 896MB, both have 240SP. U should atleast try for 14.5k, its brand new card + XFX + slight edge over 275. Both have same power consumption @ load, @ idle 275 consumes 15W~ less. 275 stock clocks are 633/1404/1134, 280 is 602/1296/1107, thats why its close to 280 in reviews, otherwise clock to clock 280 better. and both overclock similar also, approx 700 core, 1550 shaders, 1250 memory

GTX 280 is faster than GTX 275 at higher resolutions ...and gtx 280 oc more after voltage increase than gtx 275 with the help of evga voltage tuner while voltage cant be increased in GTX 275 ....

Basically GTX 280 oc (after voltage increase) ~ GTX 285 oc (same as gtx 275 no voltage increase possible)....Mine GTX 280 oc to 750Mhz after voltage increase ...

Why not just keep it? If a 260 wasn't overkill for your setup, why not just stick with the 280? You sell it for 13k, and get a 2k profit by purchasing a 260.. why?

U can try to sell it for 13~13.5k. As its XFX, the RMAed card will still have 3 yrs warranty[date sticker printed on card]. So u can expect good value.

And get urself a brand new GTX 275, as its almost as powerful as GTX280, and consumes much less power.

yea consider urself lucky to get 280 in RMA , keep it and enjoy :hap2: no point in selling and getting a 260 again .

1+ , i remember i stopped u from selling 280 for cheap and getting 285

275/280/285 have very litle performance difference . 285 and 275 dont have software voltage control though they oc little better .
