How much to pay for Split installation ?

Hey guys,

can u advice me how much should i be paying for split Ac installation ( it;s 1.5 ton Mitsubishi)

i got 2 quote from local ( full installation inc pipes , wire etc etc all theres)

1 quoted me R.s 8500
2 quoted me R.s 11000

is above normal rate ? what do u guys suggest

distance of installation from units is like 4 meters .
thx for reply in advance ....

4 meters is about 10ft.
So pipe would cost 250 per ft max 300 so total 3000
500 for the angles/stand for the split unit.
Rest water outlet and electric wire (may already be included) are not much 500 max.
Installation charge should be 1000/- upto max of 1500

So total 5K

4 meters is 13.3 ft, so he will charge you for 15 ft pipe, cost of pipe 15 * 300 = 4500
A good quality 3 core cable 4sq mm, branded will be 100 rs/m and ISI good quality will be ₹75/m, so around ₹400.
Angle stand will be ₹800-1000
Water pipe , depends on length, should be ₹20-25 a meter.
Moreover for installation above 3 meter piping, normally they do extra gas charge. YMMV
₹1500 is minimum installation charge here in Mumbai.

thanks guys for reply .I am from mumbai .... seems actual distance was about 20 foot approx ....
i asked him about doing extra gas charge .. he didn;t gave me clear answer but said he will do vacuum .
i will confirm it .

no angle installed as i have box grill.
he did joints in ac ..connection to main unit still pending he will do today

total paid 5000...upfront and remaining 3500 when it gets complete :xD

Mitsubshi Srk 20CLS 1.5 with pukka bill from shuklaji street @ 43500
installation 8500
and electric bill yet to be counted lol :xD
