You'll have to wait for another 'major' OS upgrade, I'm afraid. Evasi0n aren't working on the 6.1.3/6.1.4 and are probably waiting for the iOS 7, so just hope Jonathan Ivy gets his job done soon!

I can feel your pain though. I jailbroke my device the day they released the jailbreak to install Activator and SBSettings. Haven't installed any pirated apps though, but can't imagine using the device without these two simple tweaks! I'd say hold on to the device (if you haven't sold it already!) and wait for the iOS7, the iPod is worth the wait.

Nope. and Never will be.
Moreover now that iOS 7 has been unveiled, you can expect the jailbreak community to work on JB for iOS 7. But that is still long time away.
iOS 7 itself would come this fall so jailbreak (if it ever comes) is still away.
