FUP on Airtel 649 Home plan

I have been on this plan for few months under the impression of no FUP on this plan but as i was i getting to enjoy the increased speed from past few days i have got amessage telling i have used 80% of mu FUP.I called Airtel CC and one of the told me FUP is being introduced on all plans while other told me to ignore the message as there is no FUP on 649 Plan .Whom to believe?
 
I think there is FUP on 649 plan.. After airtel doubled my speed to 512kbps, I downloaded around 5-6 GB and then it again came back to 256kbps... :-(..
 
Plan 649 with 256 KBPS speed has no FUP but if you have been upgraded to 512 KBPS you have FUP of 5GB

So basically you can enjoy high speed only if you are not heavy user of internet otherwise indirectly there is no Speed increase for you

I have confirmed this with Airtel CC and engineers both

Go ahead and get the 1099 ka 512KBPS UL plan, or just stick to your plan. By June, all AIRTEL plans will get speeds doubled.

BTW, I thought there wasn't any FUP on 256KBPS connection...
