Early reviews are saying that the GTX 285 performance will be ~10% more than a STOCK GTX 280.

The eVGA GTX 280 SSC Edition gives a performance gain of at least 5% over the stock GTX 280.

Logically, The performance of the eVGA GTX 280 SSC will be within a 5% range with the STOCK GTX 285 which is selling for ~ Rs. 29000.

If I am wrong on the above conclusions, TE Gurus, please comment !!!

What you need for powering a Card like that is a powerful PSU and thats exactly whats offered.

Thats a value of ~ Rs. 8000/- . Thats more than 25% of the deal value. :hap2:

And wouldn't one buy the 295 for 2k more and expect even better frames at his screen? Besides the 285 runs cooler and so i could be overclocked more. So ur logic seems to be a bit unstable.

However i always liked your pricing :)

Lemme break it Up:

GTX 295: Rs. 33,600/-, Decent PSU: Rs. 8000/- ; TOTAL = Rs. 41600/-

MY DEAL: RS. 31545/- FOR a GTX 280 Super Super Clocked AND above said PSU. :eek:hyeah:

logic in that there is, I think :hap5:

And that applies for only those who are building a new system, or those who have a weak psu and expect to buy a 285...anyone???

Mate as i said i like ur pricing lets leave it at that :)

Congrats for ur sale and happy pongal :)
