Storage Solutions eSATA Pen Drive

It needs Power Over eSata, which not many desktop motherboards support as of today, leave alone laptops. Most of the time you will need to carry a USB cable to power the drive with, which in my opinion, just negates the very purpose of a pen drive. If I were to carry a cable, I will better carry two (one USB and one eSata) and use a 2.5" drive with an enclosure which will cost same but will give 10 times more storage.

Also, most of the laptops don't have an eSata port either. You will have to buy some expansion card to get the same speed as eSata or you will be stuck with USB yet again.

I think a year down the line, USB 3.0 pen drives will make much more sense.
