electric blanket in india?

@raks Electric blanket makes ur bed warm its used is cold countries .I have one here .One problem it consumes electricity a lot i mean it more than room heater
 
^^ I guess you can use it both ways...spread out on your bed or take over yourself as a normal blanket.

I know it works and would be really good, but somehow not comfortable with its idea. Imagine a matrix of wires running over my body connected to a 220v power socket :p

Padded in between a LOT of insulator and cushion.

You can just put it on bed u cant take it over .Its not like a regular blanket it has some heating coils inside and doesnt bend .
 
^^ Doubt someone will pee in their bed, since it keeps them 'warm'. :)

We use 'em in Mussoorie. And are quite good and effective....!
