Does a Voltage stabilizer consume power units?

Ok, I guess this might sound a useless question to most folks here

, but I would really like to know how if a voltage stabilizer consumes power and if so how much (or how do we calculate its power consumption)?

I dont know how much, but yes, it does consume power

probably in the 5-10% range under load and 20-30 watts at a minimum

the numbers are just a random guess

it surely consumes power. how much it consumes will vary on load i guess.
