Data transfer from iphone 3gs to 4

Guys I bought a new iPhone 4(gevey sim un-locked). Now when I plug it into my Laptop for charging, itunes opens up on its own & some data on 4 got added to my old 3gs(software unlocked) gallery.

1) What settings do I change so that itunes does not open up on connecting 4.

2) How do I transfer data from my 3gs to 4?

Now how do I copy messages, contacts, other things from 3gs to 4?

Also how to install installous?
 
1. In preferences tab, there is an option to disable the opening of iTunes when a device is connected.

2. What data? Most of the data gets synced with iTunes when you connect your 3GS and click on sync, this data will be transferred when you sync your new phone with iTunes.

3. Same as above

4. Jailbreak. Add hackulo repository to Cydia and install installous.
