Class represents the write speeds, not the read speeds. 1080p doesnt mean anything. What's the video bitrate?

I should have been more detailed.is the read speed same for all classes?? N since 1080p videos vary in their bitrate, for an average downloaded rip from torrent,is the read speed enough to play it without any problems??
^ N hardware is well capable of doing so.

I am a little ignorant when it comes to storage.I have played full HD movies ~3-4gb without any problems in the internal memory.now I want to expand the memory n just wanna know if a micro SD has no problems.
P.s- I know a 3-4gb movie would have a bit rate less than 1 MBps which should be playable but just wanna be sure about real life performance

Playback shouldn't be a problem. It is usually for recording that the Class/Write speed matters.

Have a look at this SD Speed Class Standards

And I have a querry - Where has Samsung gone ? Their cards had the highest ratings & best reliability ?

I am using a Samsung 64GB microSDXC pro class 10 card on my Galaxy Mega 5.8 past 10 months .... excellent no issues or complaints.
