Storage Solutions BIOS "security freeze lock" SSD after secure erasing

This is not a query about how to secure-erase your drive. I have done that.

Intel DH67CL1 updated to latest BIOS version. this BIOS has a UEFI mode also in case GPT is needed.
PROBLEM: Intel 330 series 180GB SSD is shown "frozen"(Security freeze lock) and I secure erased once. but, on nex boot, BIOS after detecting SSD, security freeze locks it. This SSD has no Data, it is a fresh one unpartitioned and yet security freeze locked!

My question is, if I want to install Operating System, how can I achieve if BIOS kepts locking SSD? Shall I do another secure-erase and disconnect SSD sata power cable and reconnect after BIOS loads? this way, BIOS will skip the drive and drive will be in unfreezed state and OS can be installed.

But..But.. Once I install OS, on next boot BIOS will again security freeze lock it; right? Is that OK? I am not sure how Security freeze lock works. if freeze lock enabled after OS install, is that means I cannot write into SSD? It is impractical to remove and reconnect SSD after BIOS loads each time.

Please suggest a solution.

Is SSD in frozen(Security Freeze lock) allows access for partitioning and installing new OS ? I have successfully secure erased the drive to "unfreeze" once. but, the BIOS/UEFI in Intel DH67CL1 mobo locks down the drive. Any experts?

Try updating bios. Or if its latest, try downgrading.
I've flashed to latest BIOS version already (v160) for this mainboard. This sh1tty BIOS does not have options for control freaks or even a amateur.
Yes, I have got the answer.
This mainboard's BIOS security freeze(but not lock) SSD drive if found in "unfreezed" condition. BIOS does not lock down, but "frozen"(Security Freeze) state means it is not possible for those who want to encrypt the SSD/HDD drives. I wonder if we can unlock this BIOS so as to enable/disable Security Freeze settings.
So, in brief, if your SSD/HDD tool shows that the drive is not Security freeze-locked, but just frozen(Security Freezed), it means that encryption is disabled by mainboard BIOS. partitionining, installation is OK.
