CPU/Mobo around 75 degree drop in temp

I felt like i should share this

so last night i am playing a stupid old game and without any reason my computer shuts down...
so i restart it and jumped into bios to check the temps and guess what i found on my Q6600...... 118 degree C
I was so freaked out i just shut it down and went to sleep lol
anyway next morning i took out the old blower attachment of my vaccum cleaner and cleaned up the heat sink which was so clogged with dust that it looked like a solid metal block under the fan... but the thing that caused this, i think, is the intake fans in my cabby(zebby bijli) thats right in front of the processor so i decided to turn them around too so now i have 2 exhaust fans on the side....

and the best part was now i am getting around 35-45 so it doesn't look like the heatsink(stock) needs reseating...

anyone ever seen this kind of temp drop???

P.S. i could have said this in 2 lines but looks like i like to type lol
 
same thing happened to me,..the heatsink on my p4 was clogged with dust,..used to make a sound like a motor,..close to 4000 rpms ,...used the blower,..sound came down extremely and got rpms close to 2200.

(lol,..that was in 2 lines :p)
