Either you have a good sense of humor, are trolling, or have no idea of what proper posting etiquette is when bumping an old thread.

Having a keyboard and a point of view are not sufficient, you also need courtesy and consideration.

And no, your post had absolutely no useful information at all and in fact was totally incorrect. Equalisers distort frequency response and should only be used when there is some error in the total systems response, or the user's ear. Using it to 'boost' frequencies results in gross phase errors. Your personal preference may be to eat food with tons of salt and chilli in it, but that doesn't mean that's the right way to eat.

Equalisers are to be used by people whose systems are so crappy that they can't reproduce all the frequencies correctly, or by those who think boom and tizz are the only things that make up music. No serious audiophile will recommend equalisers in any system, instead will solve acoustic problems acoustically.
