I have come up with the following specs for a netbook but am not sure which one has these (budget within 25K),

1) Intel Atom N450 (or N280 preferably not N270) CPU.

2) 1GB or more RAM (more than 2GB not much use).

3) 10"-12" or smaller screen.

4) In-built Mic and speakers (good quality sound)

5) In-built Webcam

7) Keyboard with Track-pad should be comfortable to use (guess this is based on usage).

8) Battery - at least 5 hrs usage.

9) 160GB or greater HDD

10) Windows7 Home Basic (or Win XP Home not Win7 Starter)

11) USB ports

12) Wi-Fi 802.11 g/n (with bluetooth preferable)

13) Memory card reader

Was wondering if someone here was aware of any that have the above specs?
 
i saw this deal at care in ahmedabad - the acer 4810 timeline @ 28750 with some accessories - headphone or some usb hub or something -- now that laptop has a dvd writer a 14 inch screen and will easily give you more than 5 hours of battery life. its comes with a bigger harddrive and a much powerful cpu and a much better graphic card.

if you can spend 3.5--4k more you get something much better.

or alternatively you could go for the msi wind u135 with the pinetrail atom cpu @ 22k.
 
You can look up on Acer Aspire One AO532H and Samsung N148,N150. The latter has matte screen while the former glossy.

Both are available for around 17k.
 
I am planning to get this by today. Would appreciate any info on shops for MSI Wind, Asus, Acer in Bangalore (or Chennai too with a friends help).

Which shops are reliable in SP road ?

I've sort of narrowed down my search to the following,
MSI Wind U1350
Asus Eee PC 1005PE
Acer AO532H (least favourite of the lot)

However none of the shops in SP road seem to have the first 2.
Anyone knows where I can get this in Bangalore?
