Car & Bike Any idea on Automotive Battery Charger??

Hello Everyone, this is the first time i am posting a thread on automotive forum,

All i need to know is about the automotive battery charger. It is gonna be for home use. The charger will be used to charge a 80Ah battery. Kindly help me out with the best possible option available in chennai.

If you have any idea on DIY stuff please help me out as well.

If you can monitor the Battery continuously then you can build a simple charger with These Components.

1. 220V to 16/18 V transformer.

2. A Bridge Rectifier circuit.

3. A ammeter(0-5A) To monitor Battery is charged or not.

For Automated charging Try searching in Google... ;)

Thanks Lozil for your help. I got a battery charger from Maxine india. Its good.. it has the same internal components as you have mentioned above with amps regulator.
