AC for 84 sq ft bedroom - 9 hours x 4 months usage

Hi guys,
I want to purchase ac for my bed room. Room size is 84 sq.feet.
Required use of ac is 7 to 9 hour a day for four months/year.

Please suggest whether to go for non star, 3 star, 5 star or inverter ac and which brand?

You have not specified the budget?
How is the power supply in your area? If you get a good stable voltage, and the most efficient AC, I will suggest Daikin Inverter series.(Split)
If you want a window AC, look for Hitachi Twin turbo AC RAT518 HUD. It is perhaps the best 1.5 tonne AC in India at present but expensive.
3 star , 5 star dont exactly translate to better cooling.

For an 84sft room, any 1 ton AC would do. Windows AC of lower tonnage would do the job too, while being slightly noisy.
