My requirements are pretty much like everyone's...

Dual Sim, ~4.5" screen, Good battery life, Hardware good enough for next 1 or 1.5yrs.
And this is what I am stuck at: http://www.androidauthority.com/moto-g-review-321778/

Brands(in no order) : Moto, MMX, Sony, Lenovo, LG
Alternative of Moto G in mind (as of now): http://www.flipkart.com/mobile/comp...6HCBFRERSHF,MOBDN9RGGGZGAUM2,MOBDPU4BFJTSM7VJ

No doubt, Moto G 16 GB is worth money and suits my need but the real Q is actually, Is it worth waiting for this phone or should i make use of OMG sale or GOSF kind of online shopping sale? The current expected Moto G release in India is by Jan 2014.[DOUBLEPOST=1386244330][/DOUBLEPOST]60 views and not even a single comment?
Did i miss something ? :sorry:

Strange.
Your replies led me to google and i found this list there, which is updated as of 31st oct 2013.
https://motorola-mobility-en-in.cus...=/filename/Updated MASC list - 11th Oct13.pdf

These are for the older phones, which have any warranty period remaining, because not so long ago, Motorola withdrew from Asia and Europe, while their products were still being sold..

They don't have their own service centres anymore in india, which used to be there earlier.

I hope they don't tie up with Accel Front line, like Sony.. And seagate..

but ya, if they are launching a new phone in India, they must be planning for its ASS, then whatever be the vendor.
Or can they go with policies like Apple to just replace the phone instead of repair.

Whatever be the vendor, is a very bad idea, because imho, Accel Frontline is shit.

And yeah they will think about ASS, once the phone launches. Also no warranty for imported phones in india.

I trust Moto, my defy has been working non-stop for the past 2.5 years it has come from GB->ICS->JB->KitKat . So I suggest waiting for Moto G if you want good dev support, XDA members are very happy with this phone and it already has a separate development section which came even before the release of the phone.

Any specific advantage of this and do they provide international warranty ?
Yes, Whatever I got from US never needed a warranty.
I always find products made for US/Europe better-built than the ones made for India.
I don;t know why do they do so, but this is my personal experience.
