iPad 3 7th March Launch

16:10 is not very bad, 16:9 is awful though. IMO, 16:10 is the best mix between 4:3 and 16:9

In fact, the next laptop I buy, will be looking for 16:10 as with current 16:9 its useless for books/comics

So its a dud show. Although i know there are many people who will call these minor changes as ground breaking.

So, Apple did manage to do more than catch up regarding hardware this time. Except the screen everything else just seems like catchup though.

There was better hardware( screens, proccys etc) in many tablets last year compared to iPad2 so Apple caught up and bettered the things. Other manufacturers will better this through the year and Apple will again catch up with betterments next year...

IMHO 4:3 still is better when compared to comic/ebooks reading. 16:9 is worth for the user who likes reading in landscape mode.
 
I guess.. I am going to say it... I am getting my first apple product.

iPad.. here I come.

Asus transformer pad has quad core A9 cpu. Resolution is lower at 1920 x 1200 pixels though. Now everyone will be comparing the New iPad resolution with other tablets.

These hidensity display screens are from Samsung. Whats not known are whether these are IPS or S-IPS. Most probably, some variant of IPS to reduce power requirements.

The 4:3 aspect ratio is certainly going to kill the HD movie experience on this.1080p with black bars is awful.
