In contrast, the first one is only $6000+ which is lessser than a high-end pc from Digital storm. Good value or substandard performance?
 
No, of course not. This is a complex design with precision engineering. Tons of movable parts, high quality materials, no chance to get it done cheaply. One may get something resembling the cheaper one done for a few dozens of thousands, but be rest assured without a fine design it will be very unergonomic and uncomfortable.
