Why are my replies being deleted?

Title. I've been responding to various threads in a bid to get the five trophy points needed to make a for sale post and it seems that if you post and there isn't a mod to approve it, it automatically gets deleted an hour or so later. What is this?
Also, I'm not exactly a new member (lurked for a long, long time), why aren't the restrictions based off off account age instead of account participation?
