I would recommend to hold your purchase for a while. If the purpose is exclusively for Gaming, go with the Intel Proccy and wait for sometime, let the Sandy Bridge B3 revised Mobo come out. You can build one then. Let the other members comment on the availability of revised Mobo.
 
Any estimation on how long does it take? I was planning to buy the pc this weekend. Is the board available to online purchase?

yes... u can buy a B3 revision motherboard from SMC no one suggested u that option coz u've writtern "Not Open To Purchase Online"

@Hades- Any particular reason for a Samsung DVD Burner. I hope LG is better.

Considering if its not a strict 55K budget. You might as well get a HD6950 2GB version may be find a dealer who has got December batch and unlock it to HD6970. And get a i5 2500k, might help you later. Budget should shoot up by another 3K.
