Laptops Replacing a cmos bios battery

Need to replace the cmos battery. Any tips on using the existing connector soldered to the old battery and using it on the new cell

You should be able to find batteries with soldered on leads and the connector online.

If you want to go the diy route,
You can pick up a battey holder and reuse the connector + wires from the older battery.
