TLDR: If you have any of these boards, they have a backdoor in the firmware that can be used for malicious intent.
Gigabyte is pushing firmware updates to bolster security.
Meanwhile, go to your BIOS and disable APP Center Download & Install feature

Well almost all boards have now received a BIOS update. I have updated both of my Gigabyte boards.
