i am planning to assemble my own PC. Please anybody tell me which is better Dual Core processor or intel i3??

Price difference is not that much but people still suggest dual core over i3???
any suggestion????:S:S

i want to assemble my PC this time. I will have to work on adobe dreamweaver cs4 and adobe photoshop.
please tell me which RAM would be better Corsair,Kingston or Zion RAM as i have heard of Popular brands corsair and kingston but somebody told me zion is a bit costlier but quality is better??Any comments???
for processor i am confused whether to buy dual core processor or intel i3, price is almost same. please tell me which gives more value for money.
