From the last six months could not update Windows XP, connect to facebook or WindowsLiveMessenger!
The wired (to Netgear router) Desk Top was on Xp home and wireless lappy on XP Pro. Both had the same problems.
Point to note is that two tablets on Vista home - update and log onto FB and WLM without Probs.
Since the lappy travaled with me to Himachal I'd Update Windows there wirelessly on BSNL BB.
I figured Airtel Gurgaon to have issues, as I'd walked thru' all the M$ error codes with no joy or solution.
Last evening I connected the DT directly to the 220 BX Beetle and VOILA Windows updated, connected to FB and WLM!!! smooth as silk.
So now the problem has to be with the NetGear router. I reset it and set it up again security and all. The problem is back :S Can't Connect to WLM or FB or update
What changes do I have to make while setting up the router for it to work.
