That's ok. What is your needs? Unless you state them, no one would be able to suggest a good rig for your need since they don't know why you need it for!

^^ AMD A6-3650 ~ 5900/- / A8-3850 ~ 7500/-

Gigabyte GA-A75-S2V ~ 6000/-

Corsair 4GB 1333MHz ValueRAM x 1 ~ 1900/-

FSP Saga II 400W ~ 1900/-

NZXT Gamma ~ 2100/- + 2x 120mm Cooler Master R 4's ~ 600/-

Samsung OEM DVD W / R ~ 1000/-

Logitech / Microsoft wired combo (keyboard + mouse) ~ 700/-

The AMD Llano series is a good balance between CPU and GPU raw performance, it comes with a IGP on CPU die (the HD 6450 OR 6550), the motherboard has all the requisite outputs, including HDMI so no problems hooking it to your TV also. For HTPC and average gaming workloads this is the best you can get. If you want an Intel solution then aim for --

Intel Core i3 2100 ~ 5100/-

Any-compatible H67 motherboard ~ 6000/-

[rest configuration same as AMD PC]

The Intel HD 2000 IGP with the Intel processor is weaker in gaming aspects so if you want decent gaming performance you'll have to invest in a discrete GPU.

Ideally the AMD HD 5770 / 5750 ~ 6500/- / 6000/- OR above.

To compare Intel and AMD processors in real-time, here is a read-up -- http://www.anandtech.com/show/4479/amd-a83850-an-htpc-perspective, the AMD Llano chipset, has a stranglehold on the multi-threaded and graphics intensive workloads, while Intel dominates in single-threaded and productivity based applications. Hope this helps.

CPU AMD Athlon II X3 440 ~3400

Mobo Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3(AM3+) ~4750

RAM kingston/Adata 2gb ddr3 1333Mhz ~800

Seagate 1tb hdd ~2800

cabinet CM elite 310/360 ~1500/1900

power supply FSP Saga II 400W ~ 1900

Graphic card Sapphire/HIS HD 5670 1 GB GDDR3 ~3900

Liteon/LG dvd writer ~950

Logitech key board mouse ~650

total ~21k

GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket FM1 - GA-A75M-S2V (rev. 1.0)

Errr... The motherboard you have suggested lacks HDMI port.

Also while suggesting Llano suggest at least 1600MHz RAM as the GPU performance increase significantly when using 1600MHz compared to 1333MHz. 4GB GSkill single stick 16000MHz costs only ~1.7k now. Also SMC has launched A8-3850 for 7k. It never sold for 7.5k in the forum!

I would suggest you go with sandy bridge rather than invest in soon to be EOLed AM3 socket.

Components Description Price (INR)

Processor Intel Pentium Dual Core G620 3450

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3 3450

RAM 4GB Kingston DDRIII 1333MHz 1500

HDD Seagate 1TB 7200.12 2800

GPU Sapphire ATI Raedon HD5670 512MB GDDR5 4000

Cabinet CM Elite 310 1500

PSU FSP SAGAII 400w / Gigabyte Superb 460 2000

Key Board Logitech SET - Optical Blk Mouse+ MMKB 650

Mouse NA -

ODD Samsung 22X SATA DVD R/W 950

Total 20400

I have suggested 4GB RAM since it fits in your budget. Alternately you can opt for 2GB for ~0.8k and bring down the cost to ~19.7k.
