Lenovo Ideapad 310 15-ISK Battery Problem

Battery is showing 58% and it not charging, even it kept for hours to charge.
Laptop will not switch ON without charger connected. Will switch OFF if charger disconnected.
Is it a problem of Battery or Adopter and any other ???
Will it be Ok if battery is replaced ??
Please share your experience
 
You've mentioned that the laptop switches on when the adapter is connected but the battery doesn't charge. Based on this the problem appears to be the battery.
If possible check the adapter by connecting it to a different laptop and see if it is charging?
If a multimeter is available check if the output DC voltage at the pins is the same as that mentioned on the adapter?
If the above tests are positive then there being a problem with the battery will be confirmed.
If the battery is user accessible check if it shows any sign of swelling up etc, if it does that do remove it immediately and dispose of it properly.
