It's all so confusing. I did BCA from IGNOU back when i was in college, though didn't complete it (dropped out during 2nd year), i still received a CCA certificate (Certificate in Computer Application) from IGNOU. Why i got it, i have no idea. This was back in 2003 so i don't even know what i studied back then.
Nowadays people are applying for CCC and DCA for availing jobs. How do they fare in front of my CCA?
Some people say DCA is higher in value, while some say DCA has no value since private institutions simply print out DCA certificates for 1000 bucks and CCC is 100% govt sponsored scheme (NIELET) so it has more value.
And then there is BCA, a course which every IITian says is a joke and has zero value.
So i wanna know:-
1 . What is the duration of CCC , DCA, BCA ?
2. What are the course content? Do they have programming like CSE in IITs?
3. What are the job opportunities presented by these 3 ?
4. Which is degree is more valuable for my students (B.A students)
