Graphic Cards ati radeon express 200

i just got this card bundled with my mobo, will i require a different pcie card or will this suffice??im asking this cos quake 4 demo didnt work on my comp(ps-my os is fake:( )

^ The Radeon Xpress 200 is onboard graphics. AFAIK its decent enough - for onboard graphics, supports DirectX 9.0 as well. No idea why Quake 4 shouldnt run on it.

LOL Quake 4 will crawl on it, it atleast crawls on my 9800 pro. A 6600 GT is a minimum to play that game at acceptable rame rates.

ATi Xpress 200 is just a bit better than Intel Extreme Graphics 2. Lol.

Dont expect Quake 4 to even boot/render half the things on it.

Just ordered for a MSI RS482-IL for Rs 5200

Now,:-

1) Is the rate overpriced

2) Is the card 939 or 754 socket

3) Does thid mobo hav a TV-Out & a firewire port too?

Me,anyway think,its a VFM board.

If possible, cancel the order and get the ASUS A8N-VM which is based on the nVidia 6100/410 chipset or the A8N-VM CSM based on the 6150/430 chipset. That is much better than the RS480. And the rate is indeed higher than for what its being sold. Its only 4.5K.

Oops. Sorry. Got confused with Techie#1's post. Get the 6600 vanilla. That's ur only decent option in that price range.
