iOS apple care for iphone and watch ultra 2

recently got iphone 15 pm and ultra 2 from US. thinking of getting apple care plus for both of them. i never purchase care plus before as i also have mac but never placed any problems with it()

in the past my iphone 13pm had a dot on the screen around 11 months and got screen replacement from apple. im thinking of using it for 2 years if not i might get a better resale value as it will have care plus?

also if im taking apple care is it 1 year manufacture default warranty + 2 years apple care = total 3 years? or is it just only 2years? kindly shred some light on this. thanks

Sorry, I don't have first hand knowledge about this but Apple support is quite prompt in replying to queries. You can ask them and I guess it will be answered in detail.

will buying apple care increases the resale value of the phone on the second year or it will be more or less same if i maintain the mobile in prestine condition?
