Really depends on your city.
But normally they have third party service and not handled by some other company but independent people/small company.
For ex in bhubaneshwar they had 4 different service centres within 3-5 kms.
Earlier in 2018, i bought an acer laptop, keyboard started having issues within 6 months. Got it replaced within a week. But they damaged the ribbon cable connecting hdd and mobo.
If i didnt have an extra ssd it would have rendered my laptop unusable, do remember ssds in laptops werent common back then.
It took them 2 weeks but they couldnt get the cable.
Went to haldwani, uttrakhand for 2 weeks, contacted the third party there, they replaced it in 5 days.
Back in those days, acer had a lot of issues in their laptops. My specific model was plagued with kb issues, doesnt matter how many times u change it,its doomed to get short circuit or something.
As for the laptop within 20 months, the gpu started artifacting and in next 5_6 months, camera and keyboard went to shit.
Hinges started breaking.
This was acer aspire 5 xxxx.
Some of my friends had nitro 5 of that period ,they also faced small issues like speaker,kb,display issues.
As such i personally hate acer and wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
Their laptops had a lot of qc issues back in the day.
