^^ There were no rebates.
Plus there are 2 kinds of rebates.
Instant and Mail-In-Rebate.
If you do to Fry's or Best Buy or CompUSA retail stores, they have the same thing on each and every product.
Its nothing but a cheque which is sent to you, maybe after 3 months of the purchase. They can be directly from the Manufacturer or from the Retailer.
In latter case, it would be written "NewEgg Mail-In-Rebate".
Which means its a special NewEgg only Main-In-Rebate, not the Manufacturers. Thus youd get a Cheque from NewEgg.

well thats newegg. when they got last stock remaining they usually reduce the price n put rebates to usually finish it off, so they can put the fresh stock back up on their site.
