One story which slipped past us during CES was that Sony announced their MemoryStick Sony Duo storage cards will be available in 4 and 8 GB capacities some time in 2006. This will no doubt be of great interest to Sony PSP owners but perhaps less interesting to digital camera owners as the majority of Sony digital cameras which take Duo are likely to find 1 GB more than sufficient. It's timely perhaps to question the future of MemoryStick especially when Sony themselves are now putting SD (Secure Digital) card slots in their latest Vaio notebooks.
