It should not be a problem. However its better to keep the genuine cartrdiges for the time when you need to send your printer for servicing as they will ask for genuine cartrdiges and if you not have , then you will need to buy. Make sure to seal it abnd keep in a air tight box.

Buy inkjet for photo printing. You can look at Epson R230x. costs appx. Rs. 8000. CISS very easy to uase with it.

Epson TX111 ........to be short and simple. Just remember to buy refillable cartridge along with it and you will never need to buy expensive cartridges again.

Its not a question of which company's cartridges are cheaper. Its whether the printer can work with refillable cartridges. Hp cartridges can be refilled only 4-5 times before you need to buy a new one and then also its a messy affair as they are not designed to be refilled. In contrast...
